Long before I ever saw the stinging end of a flogger I was Domme, although I'd not had any real life experience my conversations with submissives made me realise what lay dormant inside me.
I've read about many forms of Domination and submission, of Sadism and Masochism, some far too extreme for most.
One of the main reasons I read about such things is a need to understand what drives a person to seek such pain or control. I feel that will help me have not only a better understanding of my own needs, but also those of any D/s relationship I enter into.
